Courses

As hardware-related technology becomes more important nowadays, our courses focus not only on software but also hardware. We put more stress on implementation. On the average, it is required that our students take 15-to-18-credit computer-science-related courses in a semester. Even with pressure, our students do make a solid foundation on computer science and information engineering.

The courses offered for undergraduate students give them a solid foundation and interest on related knowledge for computer science and information engineering. The goal of graduate program is to make our students competitive candidates for successful researchers or engineers. The goal of Ph.D. program is to lead students to advanced parts of research fields. Besides those foundation courses, we also offer the advanced courses on many different fields including Computer Architecture, System Software, High-Speed Computer system, Computing Theory, Design and Analysis of Algorithms, Parallel Processing, Artificial Intelligence, Intelligent Agents, Natural Languages Processing, Data Communication, Image/Signal Processing, Robotics, Computer Vision, Neural Networks, Computer Networks, Computer-Aided Design, VLSI, Intelligent Computer-Human Interface, Multimedia System, Scientific Computing, Financial Computing and so on.
