Kate Ching-Ju Lin

Professor, CSIE, NTU

I am a professor in the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineeringat National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan. I direct the NSS Group of CMLab at NTU. I received the B.S. degree in Computer Science from National Tsing Hua University in 2003, and the Ph.D. degree from the Graduate Institute of Networking and Multimedia, National Taiwan University in 2009. Prior to joining NTU, I was an associate researcher fellow at CITI, Academia Sinica and a professor at CS, NYCU. I was a visiting scholar at CSAIL, MIT in 2007 and 2010, and at ECE, CMU, in 2022.

My research interests lie broadly in network and sensing systems. Our recent research goal is to develop space datacenter systems that support distributed learning and real-time, large-scale mobile sensing.
