Assignmentsproject #0: install pbrtAssigned: 2008/09/17Due: none Download the current source code of pbrt and install it. Set it up in a programming environment in which you can debug. Run several examples and check out the outputs. Optionally, create some of your own scenes. Please refer to Appendix C of pbrt book for pbrt file format. PBRT has a couple of extensions which allow you to use objects of other formats. One allows you to import obj files and the other allows you to convert Maya files to pbrt formats. You can find them from pbrt's download page. In addition, I have generated a source code browsing page using doxygen for pbrt 1.03. It should be helpful in tracing code. If you want to make a copy on your own copy of pbrt source code, download this file and unzip it into the doxygen directory under pbrt source. Note that this might not be accurate once you have changed your own copy of pbrt. project #1: acceleratorAssigned: 2008/10/1Due: 11:59pm 2008/10/26 project #2: realistic cameraAssigned: 2008/10/29Due: 11:59pm 2008/11/18 project #3: reflection modelsAssigned: 2008/11/26Due: 11:59pm 2008/12/16 final projectAssigned: 2008/12/17Proposal: 2008/12/31 Due: 2008/1/21 |
