Our Vision about the field of Bioengineering leads to the creation of the BioASM project.

　The combination of Bioengineering technology and information Technology is a powerful complex, which is promised to yield to tremendous breakthrough in the fields of science, medical care, agriculture and economy.

　The sheer volume of data and mind-bogging complexity of biological information is the main obstacle of molecular biologists. A great variety of devices, data base systems and algorithms were devised to counter the difficulty. However, due to the lack of a common platform and standard system, the access to each measures is uneasy.

　Therefore, our project is aimed at constructing a common, accessible, simple-to-use system for biologists. And with such common basis, advanced applications can be built to handle higher-level, greater scale problems with much higher efficiency.
