Abstract:
The total market cap of the big five, Facebook, Google, Amazon, Apple and Microsoft now exceeds 7 trillion or about 25% of the total S&P 500. These tech companies are changing the way we live and work. One thing that could separate out these companies from the old economy is the way they use data. All of these companies collect and use massive data to make decisions, optimize products and build various machine learning powered products.
In this presentation, we will discuss how machine learning and data are used in these companies and what engineers, data scientists and product managers do in these companies to leverage data.
