In this talk, we will provide insight of where the decentralized social media is today after 4 years of running the business to reach 2.8B influencer reach. We will share lesson learnt from first hand engaging and closing deals with tier one influencer such as Jemery Renner, Paris Hilton and Bob Marley. More importantly, we will also like to kick off the discussion with our findings of where the social media and talent industry will head next.

Sephi Shapira is the CEO of escapex. With over 20 years of mobile experience and proven track record 3 successful exits, Sephi has founded Orsus to give celebrities he chance to monetize their social media presence. Sephi represented several Israeli companies including Amdocs and Comverse in Taiwan from 2000 to 2003, selling their software to local telecommunication companies.
Kevin CH Lee is the SVP of Product Management at escapex. Kevin has over 13 years of experience in product management and software development. With a Master of Computer Science from University of Southern California, Kevin was the software development lead at Sony Online Entertainment and Silicon Studio where he shipped the official devkit of Nintendo 3DS and WiiU adopted by over 1000 game titles worldwide. Kevin also joined HTC and Huawei as senior product manager in the advanced technology planning team where he led the effort to ship award-winning products in HTC including One M7, Playstation Mobile, Huawei Mate 9, VR1 and VR2.
Roy is CTO of escapex. Prior to escapex Roy worked for 17 Media, a live streaming app with millions of active users, as a Senior Director managing Backend and Site Reliability Engineering teams of over 30 engineers. In the years prior to this Roy was involved in a number of roles in which he conducted research on video architecture and video compression technology in conjunction with the University of Southern California, Intel and then while at Google was a launch team member of the Google Fiber Project and developed Google Hangout video conference software.
