11/22 (一)則舉辦線上的說明會並介紹實驗室,歡迎不克至現場參加的同學一起了解人機互動領域的有趣研究。

實驗室簡介:

人機互動 (Human Computer Interaction, HCI) 研究人與科技互動的創新技術以及使用者體驗設計。我們整合多領域的知識(VR/ARAI、互動設計、人因工程、心理學、3D列印、電路設計...),探討「以人為本」的科技樣貌。目前陳彥仰教授的研究主題為VR/AR的互動與遊戲設計、智慧輔具、以及運動科技。鄭龍磻教授的研究主題為VR實體互動裝置,例如新型實體形狀顯示裝置,創造虛實整合的空間、以視錯覺結合遊戲體驗、以及互動式的觸覺回饋系統。實驗室成員來自資工、機械、物理、電機、數學、資管、化工、材料、外文等多元背景,歡迎擁有各式技能與不同背景的人才加入我們。

We invite you to come to our largest exhibition of the year on 11/19 (Fri.) to experience and explore the future of user interfaces and interaction (and play with the latest gadgets!). There will be live demos of our latest projects, so you can get to know more about what we do in this lab! First 40 people to sign up will get a free drink from us! 

 

An online exhibition will take place on 11/22 (Mon.). We welcome all prospective students to join us in the Zoom meeting if you cannot make it to the in-person exhibition.

[Lab Overview]

Human Computer Interaction (HCI) focuses on user experiences and how people interact with technology. We have assembled an interdisciplinary team to explore and create future interfaces. We develop both software and hardware, utilizing AR/VR/mobile devices and AI/cloud technologies. Our current research projects include game design using AR/VR, haptic force feedback using pneumatic devices, increase immersion and reduce motion sickness using air jets and vibration motors, and technologies for sports and athletic training, etc... Our interdisciplinary lab welcomes students from a wide range of backgrounds, including computer science, design, EE, mathematics, material science, physics, etc.
