3D Stereoscopic Kiosk Systems Integrated with RFID and Wireless Access Points

This project is sponsored by National Digital Archives Program. We integrate 3D stereoscopic kiosk with handheld devices which combines RFID tag and wireless access points. As the user takes a tour in the museum, he can find his friends in other regions in the museum and get suggestions or instructions with the handheld device. He can also appreciate the exhibits freely from different angle with stereoscopic visual effect. In the user interface of the handheld device, the exhibitions' panoramas provide an intuitive way to present information and request user instructions. (link)
