Shun-Chin Hsu(許舜欽) was born in Tainan, Taiwan in 1950. He received B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from National Taiwan University in 1973 and 1980, respectively. From 1980 to 1982, he served as a lecturer in the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University. Then he joined the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering in 1982 and became professor in 1994. In 2002, he retired. In the same year, he joined Departament of Information Management, Chang Jung University. He is interested in Artificial Intelligence, especially in Computer Game playing such as Computer Go and Computer Chinese Chess.
