Dear Colleague,

December is sneaking its way in. It's time to finalize your itinerary of the trip to ISAAC 2012. FYI, the conference program is now available at

You are cordially invited to attend the welcome dinner to be held at Ding Xian 101 around 6:30 pm on Dec. 19. Let's meet in front of the entrance of the GIS NTU Convention Center near Roosevelt Road at six o'clock sharp and leave for the restaurant together. For those of you who plan to go by yourselves, please refer to the directions below.

Dear ISAAC 2012 Participant,

This is a live report from Taipei. After a few gloomy winter days, the sun finally came out this afternoon. Current temperature is 18°C (or 64°F) and the chance of showers this evening is 30%.

Let us remind you that there are two airports in Taipei. Most international flights arrive in Taoyuan International Airport (70-min driving distance to campus), while some arrive in Taipei Songshan Airport (20-min driving distance to campus). More directions can be found at the conference website http://www.csie.ntu.edu.tw/isaac2012.

The reception (a casual dinner party) will start from 6:00pm on Tuesday, Dec. 18. To get you oriented, it will be held at the conference venue -- the GIS NTU Convention Center. Come meet your old friends and make some new friends, too. You may get your conference kit then.
