class scribe/paper notes

Each student will be assigned to write a scribe or paper notes for a lecture. You can either write a scribe of the lecture I gave or the paper notes for several papers related to the lecture. Please consult me if you choose to do the paper notes. You can write your scribe/notes in either Chinese or English. The scribe is due two weeks after the lecture. Please send me the pdf file and the source (Word file or LaTex and image files) of your writing by e-mail.

For those who are not assigned to do a class scribe, please write a report on a SIGGRAPH 2005/SIGGRAPH 2004/CVPR 2005 paper or a paper in the reading list but not a required reading. The paper you choose should be related to visual effects in a broad sense. If in doubt, please ask me first.
