ACID TENCHI'S PROFILEEight year old little sister of Aeka and part of the Juraian Royal Family. She appears in all of the Tenchi series. She even has her own series called Magical Girl Pretty Sammy. Sasami is the second crown princess of Jurai; Aeka being the first. She left Jurai to accompany Aeka in search for their half-brother Yosho, who also left Jurai in pursuit of Ryoko. Sasami arrived to Earth because Aeka's space ship detected Ryoko on Earth, since Ryoko was the last to be seen with Yosho, the ship arrived to Earth. She was in suspended animation for 700 years roaming from galaxy to galaxy with her sister in search for Yosho. When they finally arrived on Earth, they captured Ryoko along with Tenchi. However, she was not directly involved in apprehending Ryoko and Tenchi. She was more or less an observer. When Tenchi was captured, she freed Tenchi because she was bored after waking from suspended animation and wanted someone to play with. Tenchi's Tenchiken was taken from him by Aeka, so Sasami bartered that if Tenchi can get Aeka's head piece, she will return the Tenchiken to him. Of course, this was a practical joke on Tenchi because Aeka never removes her head piece and getting the head piece off her is not trivial task. Eventually, Ryoko was freed from Aeka's control and they battled leaving both of their space ships destroyed and stranded on Earth. Sasami and Ryo-Ohki are inseparable. They are the best of friends. When Ryo-Ohki first hatched, it was Sasami's head and shoulder Ryo-Ohki first sat on. She is also fond of Tenchi, but her fondness for Tenchi is that of innocence. When Tenchi was almost killed by Kagato, Sasami/Tsunami saved him and allowed him to realize his true inner power, the ability to generate the Light Hawk Wings. She cares deeply for Tenchi and the Masaki family by cooking great meals for them to enjoy and doing chores. Sasami and Tsunami (the oldest Juraian tree and the most powerful space ship in the universe) are assimilated. 700 years ago, Kagato empowered and used Ryoko to infiltrate the planet Jurai to capture Tsunami and to use it to increase his ship's (the Soja) power. As Ryoko was destroying Jurai, Sasami was in the Royal Juraian tree nursery wandering around playfully from tree to tree. As she crossed one of the elevated platform, a ship crashed into the upper deck of the nursery, knocking Sasami off. She then fell deep below the nursery where Tsunami was kept and was almost killed. As Sasami lay dying, her blood flowed and reached the Life Water of Tsunami. There, Sasami dematerialized and assimilated with Tsunami's tree form. Then Tsunami appeared in human form for the first time, hence, saving Sasami's life. Since Tsunami is much older than Sasami, her physical form is mature. In a way, Tsunami's physical form is Sasami's future physical form. Although, they "have separate minds right now, but when the time comes", they will join and become one. At that time, you can call her Sasami or Tsunami, but their individual memories will be retained. With the assimilation with Tsunami, when you look at Sasami's reflection, you will see Tsunami and not Sasami's. Sasami gets along with everyone in the Masaki household because of her outgoing and forgiving personality. For an 8 year old, she can be quite mature at times. |
AUBREY'S PROFILELike her older sister, Aeka, Sasami is a princess. Unlike her older sister, Sasami exhibits the innocence only a young princess can exude. And unlike other characters currently dwelling in the Masaki residence, Sasami is a character of great complication and of great simplicity. Indeed, once you've laid eyes upon the little goddess, you will be totally confused by this special trait of hers. Innocent yet intelligent, young yet responsible, beautiful yet kawaii, Sasami-chan is full of these wonderful "paradox!" ^_^ |
Cuteness That Surpasses Even...
The most distinguishing feature of Sasami-chan, aside from her innocent and irresistable smile, is her long light-blue hair, which like her older sister Aeka, she wears in a twin-tail fashion. But unlike her sister Aeka, Sasami's two tails do not get tied down to the back but are instead left adrift to the sides. Her large luminiscent eyes are of pinkish colour, much like ones commonly seen on a rabbit, with shapes that always seem to suggest innocence and purity. Her face is a little plum which makes her look very, very kawaii! She's also got a fairly skim figure (what did you expect from an eight year old child? ^_-). |
