Ryo-Ohki is a cabbit, a mixture of a cat and rabbit. The nature of a rabbit is embedded in her because she loves carrots. She is very joyous most of the time and cares very much for the Masaki family. She and Sasami, Aeka's little sister, is inseparable. She appears in all Tenchi Muyo! series. Ryo-Ohki was invented/created by Wasyu using a life form called Mass. Ryo-Ohki is approximately 2000 years old and belongs to Ryoko. She can take on 3 forms: Cabbit, humanoid, and Ryo-Ohki the space ship. Evidently, she was in her space ship form all of her life until she was destroyed during her and Ryoko's battle with Aeka and her ship. Although Ryo-Ohki was completely destroyed, she has the power to reproduce herself from the wreckage. The space ship wreckage "laid" an egg where Ryo-Ohki's cabbit form hatched. Imagine a devilish looking space ship hatching a cute, cuddly animal like Ryo-Ohki. BTW, the Ryo-Ohki stuffed animal are selling like wild fire. Even the guys are going, "AWWWWWWW", when the stuffed animals were released. ^_^ As mentioned before, she has 3 forms, so she can still transform herself to a space ship at will. Since she belongs to Ryoko, their minds are linked in which Ryoko can feel, see, and sense what Ryo-Ohki is touching, seeing, and feeling. Oddly enough, she also has a link with Aeka's space ship, Ryu-Oh. When Kagato kidnapped Ryoko, Ryo-Ohki used her gem in the middle of her forehead to raise Ryu-Oh from the deep pond on the Masaki property. Not only that, she and Ryu-Oh can link to form the Light Hawk Wings, a weapon only powerful Juraian space ships can accomplish. Her other special powers include replicating herself hundreds of times creating Ryo-Ohkis everywhere. She can also pass through objects. The greatest trait about Ryo-Ohki is her relationship with the Masaki family. She gets along with everyone because she tries to please everyone, especially if you dangle a carrot in front of her. As much as Aeka "hates" Ryoko, she gets along fine with Ryo-Ohki. Ryo-Ohki has a very special relationship with Sasami. They are practically inseparable. When Ryo-Ohki first hatched, it was Sasami's shoulder and head she sat on first. Ryo-Ohki is somewhat like Sasami's protector. The Masaki family feels safer when Ryo-Ohki is with Sasami when she is out in the woods by herself. Though, I prefer to consider Ryo-Ohki as a humanoid than an animal because she has a personality of her own, sensitive, playful, and protective of the Masaki family. And no, she is not a man's best friend! She is Ryo-Ohki! Ryo-Ohki also loves Tenchi, but her love is different from Aeka's and Ryoko's. When the "Mass" was about to harm Tenchi, she saved Tenchi by assimilating with the Mass. After the assimilation, she has acquired the ability to transform herself into a humanoid. Her other powers include the ability to levitate herself and other objects or person.
